As an example, for the life of me, I cannot get TMDB to work on SPMC and the Universal Scraper is a disaster, even when set to use TMDB as a source. but since using Kodi the screen saver DIM kicks in a it should but the AFTV will not sleep ( i have since set it up to quit Kodi after x mins so the AFTV will then sleep after the given 30 mins on AFTV home screen_ but upon waking its on the AFTV hoe screen my question is why does SPMC sleep ok when its left within SPMC but Kodi not? Only two solutions I can see - Make KODI or SPMC a privileged app (Not gonna happen for relatively obvious reasons) - Proxy CEC calls between Google's component and a less secure NVIDIA component available to SPMC or Kodi. Seeing as this would essentially be a form of bypassing Google's security requirements I expect they would frown on this.
